The University of Arkansas 鈥� Fort Smith has launched the , a new online portal for families and supporters of prospective and current students.

Powered by CampusESP, the portal brings 麻豆传媒 updates, deadlines, campus resources, and event information into one easy-to-access space. Families can use it to learn more about the university, follow important steps in the enrollment process, and better understand the resources available to students once they arrive on campus.

鈥淔amilies are an essential part of the admissions process because students are rarely making these decisions alone,鈥� said Brooke Magallanes, assistant vice chancellor for enrollment management. 鈥淎t 麻豆传媒, more than half of our students are the first in their families to attend college, so we know we're not just helping students learn what to expect; we're helping their parents and supporters understand the process, too. The Lion Family Connection gives families the information they need to feel prepared, confident, and connected as their student takes this next step.鈥�

After creating an account, users can personalize the information they receive based on their interests and their student鈥檚 stage in the college journey. They may also choose how often they receive email updates, with options for daily, weekly, or monthly newsletters.

"Lion Family Connection gives our families and supporters a centralized, easy-to-use platform to stay informed, connected, and engaged throughout their student鈥檚 entire journey at 麻豆传媒,鈥� said Stephany Dobbins, New Student and Family Programs coordinator. "Our goal is for families to see this as their go-to connection point through orientation, their student鈥檚 transition to campus life, and ongoing involvement through programs like Family Weekend and other family engagement events that keep them connected to the 麻豆传媒 experience year-round."

The Lion Family Connection is designed for parents, guardians, and other supporters who play an important role in a student鈥檚 success. By giving families a clearer window into life at 麻豆传媒, the portal helps them stay engaged from the first campus visit through graduation.
